Here Is My Experience With the Pest Offense Electronic Pest Repeller – The Pros and Cons
I first found out about the Pest Offense electronic pest repeller when I was looking for a safe pest repellant to use around my dog and cats. I didn’t want to use one that contained poisons of any kind. Nor did I want to use a trap. See, at the time I was having problems with the neighborhood mice. They were having a blast on top of my closet running around and gnawing up a storm. I needed to find a safe way to get them out of my house.
So, I decided to try the Pest Offense electronic pest repeller. I liked how it said that it uses ultrasonic sounds in addition to electromagetic groups to ward off the mice and other pests such as cockroaches, spiders, and ants.
What was the consequence?
I loved it. It worked for me. I had no more problems with mice or any other small critters running around above my closet. I didn’t hear a thing!
After using this item for several years now, here is a list of the pros and cons that I’ve found.
- It works!
- Keeps mice away.
- I don’t have to worry about any animals dying somewhere in my house.
- It’s quiet.
- It takes a while to work. It took almost 2 weeks for the mice to go away.
- It only works in outlets that have wires that travel to the areas where the mice are.
- It can’t be used if you have hamsters and other rodents as pets.
For me, the pros outweighed the cons. I was okay waiting a associate weeks for the pests to react to the product. And I loved knowing that the mice are truly staying away from my house. I didn’t want animal droppings everywhere and I didn’t want to worry about one of them dying somewhere and the body decomposing and causing a stink. Can you imagine? I’d have to tear up a wall to get to the body. No way!
So for me, the product did the job. I had a mouse problem and I no longer do.
As to whether the product works for cockroaches and ants I can’t say. They weren’t a problem before, so I couldn’t tell whether it kept them away or not. As for spiders, it didn’t work for me. I saw spiders before and I nevertheless saw spiders after. Not very many spiders but I would see the occasional spider. So who knows, maybe the spiders were disoriented in my house and couldn’t find a way out so they ended up crawling everywhere. I don’t know.
